Dark Horse Stables is located in scenic Rocky Ridge, Md. about 10 miles north of Frederick.

The new facility includes light, airy, matted box stalls and an indoor with new sand and permaflex footing.  A round pen and regulation outdoor dressage arena with sand over bluestone footing.

Directions

From Washington,D.C. take I-270 N to Frederick and then Rte 15 N about 8 miles to Old Frederick Rd where you turn right. Go through Creagerstown (joining Rte 550) and then immediately turn right again, staying on Old Frederick Rd. (marked,and also a sign to Loy's Station Park -a scenic covered bridge). The farm is about a mile on the left: 13304 Old Frederick Rd.


from Baltimore: take Rte 70 west to Rte 75 N, turn left on 26 at the light in Libertytown,and then right onto 550 to Woodsboro. Stay on 550 past Creagerstown and then turn right on Old Frederick Rd. The farm is about a mile on the left.
